Overall I am really pleased with how my skirt turned out. I like how neat the gathers look on the over skirt. These gathers managed to work as I learnt that you need to attach tape onto the back of gathers to keep them in place, and to keep them correctly spaced. My skirt also fit my model very well, and the designer was pleased with the outcome they designed as well, which is very important. The only thing I would definitely improve on if I did it again would be to make sure to overlock as I go so that I can overlock all the seams right along, without being stopped by overlapping seams.
